Sports Therapy Treatment

My core one-hour mobile session: a proper assessment plus hands-on treatment, in the comfort of your own home across Newbury, Winchester and surrounding areas.

What this session is

This is the treatment my practice is built around, and where most people start with me. In one hour-long visit I combine a proper assessment with genuine hands-on therapy — so we’re not just easing the sore spot, we’re understanding why it’s there. My motto is “Motion is Lotion”, and that’s exactly what we’re working towards.

Best of all, it’s mobile: I come to you, so you can relax in your own space and skip the journey home afterwards.

What to expect

We’ll start with a friendly chat about how you’re feeling, your goals and your health history, then a posture and mobility assessment so I can see how your body is actually moving.

Then it’s hands-on: soft-tissue massage — targeted or full-body — drawing on techniques such as assisted stretching (PNF and PIR), soft tissue release, myofascial release and lymphatic drainage.

To finish, I’ll reassess and set you up with mobility and strength exercises tailored to you — because progress isn’t just made on the table.

I’ll just need the space of a single bed cleared for my treatment table.

Whether it’s one session or a few

Plenty of people feel a real shift after a single visit. If you’re working through an injury or a longer-standing issue, follow-up sessions are always available, and we’ll build a plan together at a pace that suits you — no pressure, ever.

A note on safety

If you have a medical condition, are pregnant, or you’re recovering from surgery or an injury, just let me know beforehand so I can tailor the session safely to you.

If you’ve got a niggle that won’t budge, a tension headache from your desk, or you just want to feel looser, I’d love to help. Book in and let’s get you moving again.

Pregnancy Massage

Prenatal massage at home, side-lying or seated — as gentle or as deep as you need, easing back ache, swollen legs and tension from the 2nd trimester onwards.

Carrying a baby is wonderful — but it’s hard work, and your body feels every bit of it. As your bump grows, it’s so common to notice an aching lower back, tight hips, a heavy pelvis and puffy, tired legs by the end of the day. Pregnancy massage eases all of that — and it’s entirely your call whether that’s soft and nurturing or a proper deep treatment working into the niggles.

Because I’m fully mobile, I bring everything to you. No clinic to drive to, no waiting room, no rushing home afterwards.

Is it right for me?

I offer pregnancy massage from the second trimester onwards — after 12 weeks. I don’t massage during the first trimester, and there are some situations where massage isn’t suitable, including high-risk pregnancies and pre-eclampsia. If you’re unsure about anything, have a word with your midwife or GP.

When you book I’ll ask a few gentle questions about how you and baby are doing, so I can keep everything safe and tailored to you — and if massage isn’t right just now, I’ll always say so honestly.

What to expect

You’ll be side-lying or seated, supported with cushions and bolsters until we find a position that genuinely works for you — no lying flat on your back, no pressure on your bump. After a quick chat about where you’re carrying the most tension, the pressure is led entirely by you: soothing one day, properly deep into the niggles the next.

One honest heads-up: massage plus a baby on your bladder means you may well need a wee mid-session. It’s super common — just say, and we can pause at any moment.

I’ll just need the space of a single bed cleared for my treatment table.

If you’d like to feel more comfortable in your pregnancy, I’d love to look after you. Get in touch to book — and if you’re unsure whether massage is right for you just now, have a word with your midwife first.

Cupping Therapy

Vacuum-suction cupping to lift fascia, increase circulation and ease tight muscles — anywhere that needs it. Standalone or added to your massage.

Cupping therapy — also known as myofascial decompression — is a lovely complement to hands-on massage, and as an athlete myself I’ve felt first-hand how useful it can be for tired, tight muscles.

What cupping therapy is

I use plastic cups with a vacuum suction pump — no flames involved, which makes it a safer, more controllable take on traditional fire cupping. Where massage presses down into the muscle, cupping does the opposite: it lifts the fascia (the soft tissue that wraps your muscles), increasing circulation and drawing fresh blood to the area to help release the stubborn knots that don’t always shift with hands alone.

And it’s not just for backs and shoulders — I can use the cups pretty much anywhere that’s holding tension: legs, arms, hips, the lot.

What to expect

We’ll start with a quick chat about what you’d like to work on, then I’ll apply a little oil and position the cups — either leaving them in place or gliding them across the muscle. I’ll check in throughout and adjust the suction so it always feels right; you stay in control. Just mention any health concerns, medication or skin conditions when you book.

I’ll just need the space of a single bed cleared for my treatment table.

A note on the marks

Cupping can leave temporary circular marks where the cups sat. They aren’t bruises and they aren’t painful — they’re simply a sign of increased blood flow — and they usually fade within a few days. If you’d rather avoid visible marks before an event or holiday, just let me know and we’ll plan around it.

Standalone or added on

Cupping works beautifully as a focused 30–45 minute standalone treatment, or as an add-on to your sports massage or full assessment when you fancy a little extra. Whatever suits you.

Corporate Massage

On-site massage for your team — proper couch treatments with oils, in flexible pre-booked slots through the day. A wellbeing perk people actually feel.

I’m Lozzie, a qualified sports therapist, and I bring on-site massage to workplaces and teams. If your people spend their days at a desk, hunched over a laptop or behind the wheel, this is one of the simplest and most appreciated wellbeing perks you can offer — and happy and healthy employees are productive employees.

How it works

This is a proper treatment, not a token gesture: I bring a full massage couch and use oils, working through the areas that carry the most desk-related tension — the neck, shoulders, back and arms. Session lengths are flexible, on an ad hoc basis — we’ll decide together what fits your day.

I typically set up in a conference room or large office and stay put, and your employees come to me throughout the day in pre-booked slots that I organise beforehand. I’ll also send out a short form in advance to gather the essentials, so as much of each session as possible is hands-on.

Why teams love it

Long hours at a screen quietly build up tightness across the shoulders and neck, and that nagging strain can sap focus and morale. A focused massage may help relieve that built-up tension, ease the stiffness that comes with repetitive desk work, and give everyone a genuine lift. Just as importantly, it’s a tangible thank-you — a perk your people can actually feel, not another line in a benefits brochure.

A note on wellbeing

This is massage for relaxation and everyday tension relief, not medical treatment. If anyone has a specific health concern, injury or pain, I’ll always recommend they check with their GP first, and I’m happy to talk through anything beforehand.

Every booking is tailored to your team — half days, full days, one-off events or regular visits — and I’m happy to travel further afield for corporate work. Get in touch and I’ll put together a quote to suit your workplace.

Travel & location: prices are for treatments in your home across Newbury, Winchester and surrounding areas. For locations further afield, a small additional charge may apply — and I’m happy to travel further for corporate bookings. Just ask and I’ll confirm up front.

Follow-up sessions: ongoing or follow-up treatments can be arranged at the same rate as the initial session. We’ll plan these together based on what your body needs.
